Production Companies
Ghost House Pictures
Ghost House Pictures is an American production company created in 2002 by Robert Tapert and Sam Raimi which also work with Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane on their projects. Examples of their films would be The Grudge and Boogeyman Trilogies, Poltergeist or Don't Breathe.
The intro begins with a sudden shutting of the door on its own, almost like it's been pulled by some supernatural force. The loud sound is unexpected and tense, followed by high pitched distorted voices singing and echoing. That makes the audience feel on edge, as it builds up anticipation. The first person perspective allows them to put themselves in the shoes of the unseen character, making the scene more realistic and relatable. This is then culminating leading up to a jump scare of a skeleton appearing in the keyhole.

Platinum Dunes
Platinum Dunes is also an American production company created in November 2001 by filmmakers Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. This company is famous for remaking classic horror films such as “The Amityville Horror”, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, and “Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street”. They know how to get the audience's attention when it comes to horror, and aren’t shy about showcasing their skill.
The intro doesn't link to horror genre as much as the other ones I mentioned, however it still has some dramatic elements. The example of it would be contrasting colours, with majority being dark and dull and only slight hint of blue in the background, suggesting a dawn or a dusk - something is about to entail or is expected. Another thing would be building up music creating tension and sinister atmosphere, which I think is closest to the horror elements in this intro. Although it's lacking most of that, the logo is simple and seems professional, what's usually unexpecting of horror.

Blumhouse Productions
Blumhouse Productions are an American production company founded by Jason Blum in 2000. Most of their films are low-budget, micro films such as: Paranormal Activity, insidious, The Purge, Sinister or Ouija franchise.
The intro perfectly represents the genre of the films this company produces, therefore it fits in the mood and already sets a dark and creepy atmosphere. The first and most obvious aspect of the intro is the paranormal effects, linking to the horror conventions. Another interesting characteristic is the handheld, shaky camera that suggest vulnerability and tension, something unstable that makes the audience feel unsure about the following film. This definitely works successfully and helps to prepare the audience for what they are about to see next, creating the anticipation and interest.
